Common questions

Do you offer storage for businesses and trades?

Yes. Trades use containers for tools and materials, retailers for stock overflow, and offices for archive boxes and furniture. Ground level doors make it simple to load from a ute or van.

Can I drive right up to my container?

Yes. Every container is at ground level with a concrete apron and a wide metalled yard in front, so you can back a car, trailer or moving truck up to the doors.

How big is a 20ft storage container?

A standard 20ft container is about 5.9 metres long, 2.35 metres wide and 2.39 metres high on the inside. That is roughly 33 cubic metres of space and close to 14 square metres of floor.

Do your prices include GST?

Yes. $140 a month for a half container and $220 a month for a full 20ft container are the totals you pay, GST included.

What can I store in a container?

Household furniture, whiteware, boxes, sports and camping gear, tools, building materials, business stock and archive files are all common. Do not store anything flammable, explosive, illegal, perishable or alive.

Should I insure what I store?

Yes. As with most storage in New Zealand, your goods are your responsibility while they are stored. Ring your contents insurer and ask them to note the storage address. Many policies cover goods in storage for a small extra cost or none at all.
